About Akahele
Akahele is a blog produced by the directors of the Internet Review Corporation. The word “Akahele” is Hawaiian for “careful” or “cautious”… in contrast to the word “wiki”, which means “quick”.
Akahele explores the Internet and signals readers to those problematic areas where care and caution should be exercised. We’re always on the watch for website shoals where misinformation, defamation, fraud, and unethical practices rule the day – so that you may properly gird yourself, or steer clear entirely. For more about our perspective, please read our first blog post, Akahele is your Internet watchdog.
